Stacked Squares Necklace

An art-glass pendant provided the inspiration for the accompanying fiber art elements of this 18” necklace. Artist’s handmade silk papers in sky blue, golden brown and dark teal were cut, layered and stitched with metallic thread. Silk is sturdy! The chain is composed of metal and glass beads, with artist-made hook and loop closure.
