This elegant silk kimono scarf is made from a vintage fabric during the 1970’s era.  The hand painted flowers move across a textured gold background in a classic Japanese style.  Stylized leaves are woven into the background of the fabric and placed to compliment the hand painted flowers. It is a scarf that is timeless and is great for evenings or the office.  The neutral palette can be worn year round.  This kimono scarf can be tied in several ways to expand your wardrobe. The scarf  looks great with black, navy blue, cream, and white colors. I always wash my silk kimono fabrics twice before ironing them. You can care for them easily in your home.  Just put on a delicate cycle in a front loading washer, or hand wash in warm water.  You can roll it in a towel and hang to dry, and iron on a silk setting.   Dimensions:68″ Long, 13″ wide

My scarves are for the woman who wants to look great with minimal effort.

I design scarves that are handwoven by fair trade artisans near the east coast of India. They are made from silk, linen, cotton and wool. I hand dye each scarf or wrap with natural dyes, creating and mixing colors from different plants. Each piece is unique.
