Byzantine Beliefs hand-made necklace contains real artefact from Old Constantinople, hot-enamelled and polished by me for more attractive look. Aventurine and Lapis Lazuli create sensation of calmness and balance.

nA little bit more about the artefact. The coin was struck in Constantinople between 1028 and 1034 AD, in times when Romanus III was in power. On the front side, you will see IC-XC to the right and left of the bust of Christ facing to the viewers with a nimbus cross behind his head. The nimbus itself is divided into four sectors, in each limb of the nimbus cross. Christ is depicted holding a book of gospels. On the reverse side, there is a sign “IS-XS BAS-ILE BAS-ILE” meaning “Jesus Christ King of Kings“. (SB 1823).
