Description
22″ necklace featuring old African trade beads of the type called Krobo or sand cast “coral” beads, probably made in Ghana. From west Africa. The beads are made from recycled pulverized glass and then colored. The technique is a very ancient one, and these particular beads are quite old though I don’t know how old.
Long coral colored tube large disk beads. Accented with brass cube and basket weave rectangular brass beads
Strung on metal flex wire, brass lobster claw clasp,
Matching earrings available.
