This soft, floral motif is created by clamping and hand dyeing the silk seersucker in berry and lemon MX dyes. It is lightweight and breezy, perfect for a fun summer look. A natural, fresh twist on the old flower motif, it suggests rather than illustrates the delicate beauty of flora, and will add a juicy pop of color to any outfit or day.

40″ hypotenuse, 28″ each adjacent side, 19″ from center hypotenuse to opposite tip, and serged with lemon thread.

This unique scarf was made one of a kind in my beautiful Philadelphia studio. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy!

This listing refers you to my Etsy listing. I update my Etsy and Artizanmade shops frequently, so be sure to check both!

Materials used: Tight Twisted Silk Seersucker, Fiber Reactive Dyes, Wooly Nylon

Inventory #: ST 85

 A little about me:

Fueled by curiosity and a love of color and mark I am constantly exploring new ways to make patterns on luxury fabrics. I began years ago working with wax resist batik, next learned deconstructed silk screen and most recently have been working with shibori. The pieces look great stretched flat but they really take on a life of their own when draped around the body. It is so exciting to see the work become animated as the patterns and colors shift with the wearer. I am always making new things so please come back often.
