Fresco lambswool pillow cover in magenta and orange
Soft to the touch, fascinating to look at – this lambswool pillow cover blends magenta and orange with purple and grey.
Out of stock
Vivid shades of magenta and orange are blended with purple and grey in a curved organic design. This lambswool pillow cover is irresistably soft to the touch, and the narrow shape is both contemporary and comfortable!
Inspired by urban graffiti, this unusual design is part of my Urban Colour collection. I wanted to capture the uninhibited energy of spray paint on concrete, so I chose a palette of greys and contrasted these with bright colours in a lively, dynamic pattern.
I wove it on my 16-shaft mechanical dobby loom and then fulled it at my kitchen table to produce a soft, lightly felted surface. Before sewing, I brushed it to raise the nap, which helps to trap warmth and add comfort.
NOTE: Due to the prohibitive cost of shipping large packages, the pillow cover is sold on its own. You may opt to receive the pillow insert as well, and pay an additional shipping charge, but it is not recommended for customers outside the UK. The cover has a zip closure and a standard 30 x 50 cm (12 x 20 inch) insert will fit it snugly.
Dimensions: 30 x 50 cm

To care for your lambswool pillow cover, you should either have it dry cleaned or wash it by hand using a gentle soap, lay it flat to dry and then press with a cool iron.
